Ravens donates and runs rugby in and around schools throughout Vancouver. This includes in class, afterschool programs run by the school and programs run by Ravens.

Afterschool programs run by Ravens require standard registration with the Ravens.

Current Fall Afterschool Programs Ravens Supports or Runs

- Point Grey Secondary- VSB Program, Girls Only, Grade 8 to 12, VSB students only. Tuesday 330-430pm

- Lord Byng Secondary- VSB Program Grade, Girls and Boys, Grade 8 to 12. Tuesdays and Thursdays 3-430pm.

- Norma Rose Elementary- Ravens Program, Girls Only, Grade 5 to 8, Fridays 3-430pm

- Queen Elizabeth and Jules Quesnel, Girls Only, Grade 5 to 8, Thursdays 3-430pm

Adopt-a-School- Donations

​

UBCOB Ravens launched our Adopt-a-School program to revive rugby in Vancouver schools. Strong school programs are the foundation of our sport, yet they’ve been declining year after year. Without them, fewer kids pick up the ball, and the game we love continues to lose momentum.

This initiative isn’t just about growing rugby—it’s about securing the Ravens’ future. By getting more kids playing in schools and staying directly involved, we’re building a clear pathway for our club and ensuring it thrives for generations to come. A rising tide lifts all boats, and this effort will benefit players, schools, and clubs alike.

This isn’t just an idea—it’s already in motion across schools in Vancouver.

Now, we need your financial support to keep it moving. Running these programs will require tens of thousands of dollars, and your contribution will directly fund coaches and provide essential equipment to sustain rugby in schools.
