UBCOB Ravens runs Vancouver's premier age grade rugby program.

​

Until U12 (Grade 6 and below) boys play coed mini rugby, please view mini program for more information on rugby at these younger ages.

​

The fall season runs September until December for U14 (Grades 7-8), U16 (Grades 9-10) and U18 (Grades 11-12) Boys .

​Spring Season runs February until June is only offered for the U14 Boys.​​

Indicative Schedules:

U14: 530pm Practices on Monday and Wednesday. Sunday games, 11am kick offs.

U16: 530pm Practices on Tuesday and Thursday. Sunday games, 12.15pm kick offs.

U18: 530pm Practices on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Sunday games, 130pm kick offs.

​​​​Note: To qualify for a specific age grade, an athlete can’t be older than the age grade indicated by the end of the season of play. For example, in the 2024-2025 season a U14 athlete cannot be older than 14 by the end of the season of play, 2024. An athlete turning 15 in 2024 is expected to play in the U16 competition.

Our seasons consist of regular season matches followed by playoffs. The regular season includes games home or away against clubs located in the lower mainland.

Graduates of the Ravens Rugby Age-Grade Program have gone on to several post-secondary programs while pursuing their rugby careers. These include: University College of Dublin (IRE), Pacific Pride National Rugby Academy, Boston College (USA), NYU Stern School of Business (USA), St Andrew's University (UK), Claremont-McKenna College (USA), Queen's University, University of Western Ontario, McGill University, University of British Columbia, University of Victoria, Concordia University, and many more.
