The Ravens Rugby Club is reinstating their women’s team! The team will be playing exhibition games in the Premier league for the 2025-2026 season, and will have a full and competitive team for next season. This is a great opportunity for anyone new or returning to rugby to attend practice, grow their fitness and skills, and play in a competitive but fun environment.

 

The team is headed by Olympian and UBC coach, Jake Thiel, who is committed to growing the women’s game in Vancouver. Many current women’s players for The Ravens are also in key leadership positions in BC and International rugby, and new players are welcome to play, grow their technical skills, and get mentored in the sport of rugby.

 

This is a very exciting opportunity for rugby players to get in on the ground floor of Vancouver’s newest women’s Premier rugby team. Joining the team will allow players to learn and grow on and off the pitch, get to know great people, and to play rugby at a top level!

 

Practice Dates:

September – May

• Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:00-7:00pm

• Practice locations differ within Vancouver
